Short Bio
Steven Montag is a native of Cincinnati Ohio graduating from the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy. Spending the majority of his years in a career as a pharmacist, he continued his passion to create. To pursue his desires and expand his knowledge of art and art history he was granted the opportunity to attend and recently graduate from Los Angeles City College with an Associates in Art. To date Steven has displayed work at the student galleries of Los Angeles West College and Los Angeles City College in Los Angeles California and at events such as Red Door and Art on Main located in Cincinnati Ohio. His abstract work consist of puzzling fragmented compositions. They reflect a collection of his knowledge of science, human nature, emotion, and personal trial. Although an emerging artist, Steven Montag displays a uniqueness. Developing skills originating from infant doodles and childhood coloring, Steven Montag‘s devotion has led him on a path to creating mesmerizing and intriguing works.
